Entrance to Kings Mountain Battlefield in York County SC

The Kings Mountain National Military Park and the adjacent Kings Mountain State Park are located in York County SC near the border between North and South Carolina.  The easiest way to access these parks is by taking Exit 2 from Interstate 85 and proceeding a few miles south, on SC 216, directly to the main park entrance.
