Robert Scruggs House (Restored Version)

This restored version of the Roberts Scruggs House was originally built circa 1829 and is located close to the Cowpens Battlefield Site.  The house was constructed on or near the site of an old trappers cabin that did exist at the time the Battle of Cowpens was fought, on 17 January 1781.
